Sales Trainer

PERMANENT SALES TRAINER OPPORTUNITY IN SOUTH MANCHESTER

An exciting opportunity has arisen at this private sector organisation based in Wythenshawe. A salary of up to 30k is being offered for the right candidate.

The purpose of the role is to deliver training and coaching to support the business to drive sales.

Key Accountabilities

* Establish effective relationships with operational stakeholders, and maintain credibility by demonstrating the required level of knowledge through the projection of confidence and professionalism

* Create a climate for learning with interaction that keeps the learner/coachee engaged

* Promote/champion self-directed learning and blended learning solutions

* Deliver interactive and engaging training using learning transfer techniques that maximises learning

* Provide a consistent learning/coaching experience delivered to best practice methodologies

* Effectively deal with groups of mixed ability, identify and coach learner(s) who are having difficulty

* Provide consultative feedback to the Operational Management Team on recommended areas for specific support/coaching or development.

* Evaluate the quality of, linking and reporting on the direct impact of sales training/coaching to output

* Anticipate and react to unplanned situations that require flexibility and initiative

* Provide insight, ideas and feedback to Design team to continually improve training content and materials

* Promote and participate in social learning

* Keep abreast of current trends, methods and techniques in the B2B, sales and training markets.

The Talent Development Specialist (Sales) based in London will assume responsibility for the delivery of initial sales training to new starters and general support in developing new starters during their first 3-6 months. In addition to ongoing delivery, the Talent Development Specialist (Sales) will deliver tailored workshops and on desk sales training in response to demand. Building and maintaining strong internal relationships with businesses within the group, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in continuing to evolve our consultant training offering.

Who we're looking for

The Talent Development Specialist (Sales) will have a proven track record in training delivery in a fast moving business environment or significant experience as a sales trainer with a proven track record of positively impacting sales figures.

Additionally, the Talent Development Specialist (Sales) will demonstrate the following attributes:

• Proven ability to coach, develop and up-skill trainees in classroom and 121 training environments
• An inspirational character, with the ability to ensure our new starters reach their full potential
• Commercially astute, coupled with an energetic and enthusiastic style
• Excellent customer-facing and communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise workload according to business needs
• Willingness to travel on a regular basis to offices across the UK but primarily based in London

Responsible for the design, delivery and evaluation of a global selling skills training programme across all sales functions and divisions that delivers a ROI/ROE. Essential:
- CIPD qualified in HRD or possess a BTEC Training Qualification /or equivalent.
